Kirnu ("churn") was made for a friend to celebrate his moving to a new apartment. It's specially designed to be used with an energy saving compact fluorescent lamp. The materially complex shade consists of acrylic sheet, nylon string, polyethylene plastic bag, cotton, epoxy and white acrylic paint.
